LEFUTUREWAVE: "Lower East Side" Review

Jaime Deraz, a singer/songwriter who captures each moment through picturesque language and a sorrowful cadence, releases new single Lower East Side. Influenced by the likes of Bon Iver and Julia Michaels, she creates a moody atmosphere. Fantastic vocals drift over a modern production, which features infectious melodies and a strong beat. Great chorus as well.

The lyrics are carefully crafted. With New York City again being the setting of an emotional heartbreak, Jaime keenly taunts a new—or several other paramours in order to deal with her pain.
